I live in Burlington, Vermont. It's a small city with a population of 45k. I like to be in places where there is a lot of creativity, innovation and conversation about the future. I have an active mind and I am an idea-person.
I grew up in rural Vermont in a town full of my close relatives and their dairy farms. Despite living in the country for all of my childhood, I enjoy big cities and all the art and culture they have to offer. I've spent time in Toronto, Chicago, New York City, Rochester, Boston, Cambridge, San Francisco, Oakland, Santa Cruz, and Portland to name a few. Toronto and Portland are favorites, but the burritos in Oakland are hard to beat.
Though I love solving problems with computers, I see them as a tool - a means to an end. Ultimately, it's people and the planet that I am designing for.
